4 Reasons To Push Yourself On Your Next Vacation

For a lot of people, the idea of spending a vacation lying on the beach and enjoying the sun is a dream come true. Giving you the chance to shed the stress of normal life, this sort of approach is a great way to unwind, but it might start to get a little boring after a while. To solve this issue, this post is going to be going through some of the key reasons to push yourself to try something new on your next vacation. With this in mind, it should be easy to escape repeats of the same trip.

Fun: While relaxation is a great way to disconnect from work, fun can also be used to fill a similar role. When you have the chance to spend your days thrill seeking, you will be exposed to a lot more excitement than you would by the sea, and this makes it a worthwhile pursuit. Of course, though, to achieve this properly, you’ll need to be looking for activities which you will enjoy. There are loads of sites around the web which are dedicated to helping you to find vacation activities which will float your boat.

Memorability: It’s always a shame to find yourself without any meaningful memories after a vacation. When you spend the whole time next to the pool, though, this will be impossible to avoid, as each day will be very similar to the last. Companies like Global Adventure Challenges can help you to overcome this issue, giving you the chance to try something radically new on your trip. Like you fun, it will be worth looking for things which you are likely to remember for the right reasons.

Exploration: There are few better ways to see a country than while on an adventure, but you will need to be able to push yourself if you want to achieve a goal like this. Taking the chance to fly in a helicopter, for example, could be very scary at first, but will give you the chance to see your vacation venue in a whole new way. There isn’t much point in flying across the world only to ignore the place you land in.

Learning: Finally, as the last area to consider, this sort of approach can provide a great chance to learn while you are away. By taking on something a little riskier than usual, you will get the chance to put yourself on the edge, while also filling your head with a new skill. Parachute jumping is a great example of this, with a lot of people find the education they get from preparing for it to be better than the drop itself.

With all of this in mind, you should be feeling ready to start pushing yourself on your next vacation. It can be hard to make sure that you’re following the right approach when you go on this sort of trip, with a lot of people worrying that they will ruin things if it goes wrong. In reality, though, fixes are easy, and you won’t have to do much to administer one.

5 Reasons to Hire a Villa This Summer

ialicante-mediterranean-homes-475777-unsplashPhoto Credit

Summer is finally on its way, and if you haven’t already got something planned, you might be starting to think about your summer holiday. It’s a perfect time to get away with your family, taking a break from work and home stress, getting a chance to reconnect with those that you love away from distractions and commitments. It’s a wonderful chance to see a little more of the world, and it breaks the year up nicely, giving you something to look forward to in the middle of the year.

Our first thought is often a package deal. It can work out cheaper, it’s convenient, and there’s normally everything that you could need close at hand. But, hiring a villa can be the perfect alternative. Here are five reasons to consider hiring a villa this summer.

A villa from Elegant Address offers you complete and utter luxury. It’s like a home away from home, but with plenty of added extras, glamorous additions and all of the home luxuries that you could want.

To Get the Family Together

Have you ever considered going away with your whole family? Packing up the kids, your siblings and parents and spending a few weeks relaxing together? It’s something that many of us would love to do, but flights and hotel rooms for such a big group can be expensive, and you might not be able to stay close together. Some might even have to stay in different hotels.

When you hire a villa, you hire a whole villa no matter how many people are staying in it. So, if you want to stay with a bigger group, find one with more bedrooms and go for it. Your family will get to spend time relaxing and enjoying each other’s company, without worrying about other guests or constantly battling for tables next to each other at dinner.

Perhaps one of the best things about staying in a villa is privacy. It’s exclusively yours. There’s no one else around. You don’t have to worry about who can see you or keeping your possessions safe around the poolside. This can be perfect for a couple on a romantic break, a large family get together or a family with kids, looking for safety and freedom. You might even be able to take a pet.

Hotels rooms are never as spacious as you’d like. You have a bed, a small bathroom and perhaps one cupboard and a set of drawers. If you are staying in self-catering accommodation, you may have a tiny kitchen area with minimal facilities, but that will be it. In a villa, you’ve got much more space. There might be a large family bathroom and kitchen, a lounge and dining room and large bedrooms. You’ll have plenty of storage space and room to chill out.

You’ll Feel Like a Local

When you are in a hotel, you are a tourist. In a villa, you’ve got a great base to explore and a home to return to. You’ll have a chance to really relax and make yourself at home. You’ll also be able to buy and cook local cuisine and fully immerse yourself in local life.

4 Great Reasons Why People Love To Travel

Travelling, regardless of whether you’re driving to the nearest seaside town, or flying halfway across the world, takes a lot of thought, planning, and money, and yet every single day of the year, people from all over the world leave their homes to visit somewhere different. If you don’t travel very much yourself, it can be difficult to understand why someone would choose to live out of a suitcase and never stay in the same for very long. To help you better understand such people, and let you in on what you’re missing out on, here are five reasons why people love to travel.

1. It’s A Challenge

A lot of people start travelling as a way to get out of their comfort zones, especially when it comes to travelling alone. When you’re in a foreign country, something as simple as ordering a meal in a restaurant will be a huge challenge that you need to overcome. You’ll also have to navigate unfamiliar streets, which can be quite scary alone. When you return home (if you want to return home), you will be so proud of yourself, which will build your confidence.

2. For Religious Reasons

Another huge reason that people travel is for religious and spiritual reasons. Depending on your religion, places like Jerusalem or Mecca might be at the very top of your bucket list. Just make sure that you do lots of research before jetting off, to make sure that you get the most out of your trip. Reading an article on The Do’s and Don’ts of Umrah, for example, could be incredibly helpful. You should also read up on any rules you have to follow and documents you need.

3. As A Means Of Escape

Travelling to somewhere sunny and exciting is a great way to escape from the stress of a breakup, a tiring job, or the loss of a loved one. You might not be able to forget about your troubles while you’re away, but stepping away from them for a short while is beneficial, and will mean that, when you return home, you will be more at peace, feel refreshed, and will be able to tackle your emotions in a healthier way.

4. To Learn Something New

You can learn a lot about the world from books and the internet, but until you see it for yourself, it can be difficult to truly appreciate it. Travelling gives you the chance to experience different cultures, foods, and see and do things that you simply wouldn’t be able to back home. Visiting a different country also gives you a reason to learn a new language, which could benefit your life in many different ways.

With the amount of planning and money required, it can be easy to talk yourself out of travelling the world, but you really shouldn’t do. Hopefully, one of these reasons will be enough to convince you to jet off somewhere new, but if they don’t, there are plenty more that you can consider.

A Nice Cup Of Java! Indonesia For Beginners

Screen Shot 2018-01-24 at 11.48.34 AM.pngPicture

For those who are looking to travel more and broaden your mind, as well as see more places, there are so many different choices available to you. Most people tend to go for the usual suspects, Australia, America, and possibly Europe, but lots of people don’t venture to Asia as much, because of the standard issue, money. But more deals are popping up all of the time, and now would be the best time to take advantage of the lower prices after Christmas. Indonesia is one of those nations that find itself eclipsed by Japan or China, but there are some fantastic reasons to go to Indonesia. One of the main reasons is that it’s got so many different islands, so much in fact, that you don’t know where to begin. But, here are some places for you, as a beginner to Indonesia, to try…

You cannot mention Indonesia without mentioning Bali. It’s probably one of the most beautiful islands you will ever see, period! Bali is probably best known for its beaches, and there are so many to choose from, but Kuta Beach is one of the most popular, but this is where everybody goes. If you looking for a party, this is definitely the place to go! But if you’re looking for some tranquility and real peace and quiet, Lovina is a beach located in the northern part of the island, and so very peaceful and sleepy. If you love the place as much as we think you will, there are opportunities to set up a long life for yourself there, sites like https://rumahdijual.com/kios-dijual provide many options to rent or buy properties on the island! Yes, it’s one of the most beautiful places in the world, but it’s a place where living the dream could be a reality!

Komodo Island

Of course, you might have heard of it after the Komodo dragon. These lizards are truly a sight to behold, and you need to see them in their natural habitat, but one of the other draws of Komodo Island is one of the beaches. There is a beach that actually has pink sand! It’s pink because of the mixture of white and red sand, but, in conjunction with the Komodo dragon, if you looking for two unique sites in the world, this island has both!

While most of the tourists go straight for Bali, you might be better off going to a little island located just 30 miles east of Bali. Lombok has fewer people, great beaches and plenty of opportunities to go surfing if that’s what you like doing! But if you like climbing mountains, the Gunung Rinjani is a feat of physical strength and is three days off amazing adventure! And this isn’t all; if you like your amazing views with a sprinkling of spirituality, the foothills of this mountain have many mosques.

Sumatra has the biggest volcano crater lake on the planet! This truly is a sight to behold, especially when you realize that inside the lake, there is a small island the size of Singapore. If size isn’t everything to you, you can head to Gunung Leuser National Park, which houses orangutans in the wild. In fact, Sumatra is full to the Brim with wildlife! You can see elephants, tigers, but if you are very lucky, you might catch a Sumatran rhinoceros, one of the rarest species of rhinoceros.

Based on the Western tip of Indonesia, Java is home to 120 million people. 10 million of these live in Jakarta (more of which later), but one of the biggest draws for tourists in Java is the Borobudur. This 8th-century Buddhist temple is a UNESCO World Heritage site and is located in between two amazing volcanoes. It is taught in local schools as one of the Seven Wonders of the World, and when you see it with your own two eyes, it’s not difficult to see why! Apart from the small matter of one of the most beautiful sights you’ll ever see, you can view the wonderful heartland, but also explore the Ujung Kulon National Park, not to mention the volcanic islands of Krakatoa. You can’t leave the island without heading to the city of Bandung. It’s a very trendy place and is a popular destination for Jakarta residents. But if you’re looking for something a bit more low-key, Yogyakarta is a cultural hub, but is arguably the best base to explore the Borobudur.

Being the 11th largest island in the world, naturally, there are many things that you can do! You could head to the Wakatobi islands, and take advantage of the diving opportunities. You could head for the Lindu National Park in Palu, which is covered in beautiful rainforest. Or you could head to the capital city of the south of the island, Makassar, and sample some of the delights of South Sulawesi cuisine. The main meat consumed is seafood, and most foods are served with burasa, a dumpling made of coconut milk rice, and wrapped in a banana leaf. In fact, there are many fantastic food items to consume, and if you’ve got a sweet tooth, this will be right up your street!

Jakarta needs to be mentioned, it’s the capital of Indonesia, and it’s probably the most chaotic of cities you will ever encounter! But venture beneath the hustle and bustle, and you’ve got so many fantastic eateries, bars, not to mention nightlife to choose from. http://www.jakarta100bars.com/2017/06/jakarta-nightlife.html gives a breakdown of the best bars to head to, but Domain is one of the most popular nightspots that needs to be sampled, and has had superstar DJs like Steve Aoki play! Honorable mentions go to the Dragonfly and Immigrant, two of the most thriving clubs in Jakarta. Depending on where you’re staying in Jakarta, you might want to pick Immigrant as your chosen nightspot, as it’s located directly in the middle, in the Plaza Indonesia Mall.

And for a slice of real nature, Lorentz National Park, another UNESCO World Heritage Site, houses many different species of birds, but also rainforest, glaciers, as well as alpine tundra. You could head to the Pantai Tablanusu beach and relax, or if you prefer, head to the Museum Loka Budaya and learn about native costumes, as well as look at photographs from yesteryear, or examine artifacts like Asmat carvings, so you can get a true appreciation of the island. Go from there to Jayapura, the capital city of Papua and head to the local market in Hamadi, and while the city isn’t particularly large, if you like your capital cities with a slower pace, then this is the city for you!

Indonesia is one of the places you need to go before your time runs out. Consisting of 18,307 islands, you could spend the rest of your life exploring the highs and lows, peaks and valleys, as well as examining all of the most beautiful wildlife, flora, and natural beauty the place has to offer. As a starting point, these islands have so many things to offer you, and to keep you busy for the rest of your life, so it’s unlikely you’ll get to see everything that Indonesia has to offer. But you can certainly make a very good go of it! From spirituality to hedonism, tranquility to hiking, there is something to cater for every person in this nation of wonderment! So, consider Indonesia as your next place to tick off the bucket list.

Broaden Your Travelling Mind

There are the typical holidays that people go for. They’re usually the beach holiday and the city break. Both of which are perfect and can give you such a nice little break away from reality. But rather than just going for your standard holiday, you need to try and find ways in which you can make it better. Broaden that travelling mind and see where it gets you. There’s so many places in the world to discover that you might not usually have thought of. There’s going to be so many locations in the destinations you have thought of that you didn’t even know about as well. So, now we’re into the new year, you might as well try some new things. This article is here to show you how you can broaden your travelling mind.

Unique Locations

There are some truly amazing locations listed around the world that will completely change your view on travelling. We all know the more traditional ones, but have you ever considered the follow ideas? There’s a few we’re sure you’ll love

South Korea- One of the most cultured countries you’ll ever go to. It is another world out there, and the economy is now growing so well due to tourism. You’ll find some amazing accommodation there, such as the Yeouido Park Centre Marriott Executive Apartments that offer that little bit of luxury during your stay. If you do chose to visit, the markets are one of the best places you can go to. You need to try and be a little bit adventurous with the foods you try. The don’t eat what we usually would, and some it you may find gross. But if you’re going to South Korea, you really do need to try them out.

Brunei- This is somewhere you need to go at least once in your lifetime. It is one of the islands of Borneo, and the population is pretty small. But it is so beautiful and relaxing, you’re bound to fall in love. There’s culture to be seen, and it even has its own waterpark if you’re looking to do something a bit more adventurous. But people often go there to relax and unwind, and to try the amazing foods that you’ll be able to find there. You can also get boats and visit the nearby islands if you’re looking to expand your trip further. All of the surrounding islands are just as beautiful as Brunei itself.

Never Stop Travelling

If you really want to let travel broaden your mind, you need to let it become your life. A lift full of travelling is what a lot of people would call a life lived well. It isn’t really too hard to do either. Your first option would be to go freelance. Whether it be writing, or photography etc. you just need to find something that you’re going to be able to do from all over the world. This freedom that you have is going to be so mentally freeing, but it is an opportunity that not a lot of people have. If you know you can’t go freelance, something that is very popular with the younger years is a gap year of travelling. But you don’t need to be young to do this. All you need to do is have good social skills, and have a passion for travelling. You’ll obviously need a bit of money saved up to begin with first. A lot of people like travelling around Thailand and spending as much money as possible, before heading onto Australia where they’ll have a working visa and end up with a full time job and the dream Aussie lifestyle. If this sounds appealing to you, it is easy enough to do. Just do your research and see where your new travelling lifestyle will take you.

Try Something New

People often don’t like to step out their comfort zones. But when the comfort zone is stepped outside of is when the most fun happens. There’s so many things in so many different holiday destinations for you to try that are going to give you a real adrenaline rush. Take kayaking for example. In some countries, such as Thailand, you will find the most idyllic of rivers to float down in your kayak. But in others you will be speeding down a river at high speeds white water rafting. It is about getting out there and doing the things that you wouldn’t usually do that really does broaden the mind.
